FAA pilot stats

Post by avcanada »

Wow lowest number of student pilots since they started giving out student pilot certificates in 1954.

The 20 year forecast also looks pretty grim.

Has TC released any similar forecasts?

FAA 20 year forecast

It is estimated that slightly more than 72,000 student pilots were registered with the FAA in 2009, down from almost 81,000 a year before. According to the forecast, the number won’t again reach 2009 levels until 2013; next year is expected to be the worst with the forecast bottoming out at roughly 69,000 student certificates.

So the parallels are there on many items. You may do it, but do you not want a better life for your kids?

Oh boy aren't you fast yyycflyguy. You must just be scanning this forum 24/7 for any slanderous mention of your name! :goodman:

So what if they are not Latinas. I told you already once (God only knows how much the Mrs. told you), keep you hands off the crew!
