It's a pretty good plan and super easy to qualify if you have your ATPL and CAT1 medical.

Hello all,

I was hoping someone would have a suggestion for a life insurance provider. I was recently approved by a company, however they wanted to charge a premium because of my work. I am currently a SO on the 727.

Unfortunately I do not hold and ATPL yet so PPIP won't cover me.

Any suggestions would be great,

I'm kind of curious myself. After looking at the website above, it claims to only cover up to $300K. That will bearly cover my mortgage, let alone anything else. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Something to keep in mind. Some aviation insurance companies will insure you only if you have a cat 1 medical. If you opt for that insurance and then are diagnosed with cancer or something that cancels your cat 1, you've lost your coverage. Other types of insurance which are not based on this sort of limitation should cover you after being diagnosed with something bad.
