Did my very first Fam flight with Doug Back next to the South Terminal was 12 at the time. Damned if I wasn't infected for life

Did all my ground schools with him and he did my pre ride before my com flight test. Was a very good man

G'day
I flew with 'Black Doug' at C.F.B. Greenwood, Nova Scotia back in the early to mid-1970's. Many stories about him and most of them true.
