Re: AvCanada new server
The database was synced again around three hours ago. Anything posted since then will not be transferred and need to be posted again.
Re: AvCanada new server
How long ago did you shorten the TTL on the old dns record? And what did you set it to, before you changed over?
My local name resolver is showing a remaining TTL of 19309 (i.e. >5 hours) for www.avcanada.ca - so without extraordinary action (which I have clearly taken) I wouldn't see the new site for at least that long.

The clock is off. Even with my correct time zone selected, its 5 hours and 6 minutes off.

Since the time has been updated any rely to a topic over the next couple of hours will put your reply in chronological order. This may mean your reply might appear out of order.

That should have said ..... "She's some fast me son." Missing the gender reference shows that you may be "from away."

Re: AvCanada new server
I just want to know if you had to go to FSI and get an endorsement for 'multi core server operator', or if it is just an upgrade to a 'turbo single core', so the old operator certificate suffices....
Re: AvCanada new server
I would think that they are in the same 'grouping' so as long as the VNE does not meet or exceed 250 Mb/Sec nor hangs up over 80 Mb/sec, a type rating would not be required.goldeneagle wrote:I just want to know if you had to go to FSI and get an endorsement for 'multi core server operator', or if it is just an upgrade to a 'turbo single core', so the old operator certificate suffices....
