Must be referring to the sudden disappearance of 4 "reserved for" parking signs from the front of the main thunder bay hangar, the ones closest to the front door.

I've heard they are looking to form a task force who can think outside the box and send some documents over the wall in order to empower their tiger team to synergize and develop best practice solutions that drill down and address core competencies. They're looking at picking the low-hanging fruit and making the business more scalable so they can get the needles moving and they don't want to boil the ocean. They are hoping to touch base by the close of play and give 110% going forward.

Yup, if the managers don't get ahead of the bow wave soon by incentivizing the coal face in order to achieve the kinds of systemic efficiencies that will immediately improve the business metrics, they they are going to hit the debt wall and have to pull the golden parachute.

So, in other words, they are restructuring in order to save/make money?

I believe that Docbrad was trying to word it so everyone could understand it, not making a statement.

Long story short, if they are not restructuring than what the heck is going on?

Wasaya just axed their VP Ops (GS), DFO (JY) and Maintenance Director (SS).

Sad and scary days at Wasaya.

One word restructuring, I understand that for their opening act they went with 2 VP's the PRM and the Op's Manager being escorted off the property to start their day last Friday.

So they brought this REL Group in?

Yes, that would be a re-structuring. However, this will only work if the real powers that be (Board of Directors, Bands, etc.) allow the individuals that they put in these positions to actually do their jobs without interfering on a daily basis (micro managing). If the new hire management team cannot run the ship without having to answer for every decision they make, than the writing is on the wall.

As crappy as Wasaya is, there truly is massive potential to do great things. They just have to think outside the box.

I've known GS for thirty years. He's no dummy.

Sounds like they're rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

And so it continues.

Apparently 10 more today.

And the old CP is now DFO.
