Picked up my new bike today. Brand new F650GS. 2012 model in yellow and black. Price was right, and there is no place I'd go, that I couldn't on this thing!
Traded in the '07 650 Bandit, but I'm keeping the DR650.

You guys are making me drool I need another bike. "Need" funny I laugh.

I, like beef have been looking at Goldwing but not sure I could do it but now The FB6 Wing looks kinda cool. I believe it can fool you into believing you are on a bike but actually on a lazyboy.

Here is what I have owned since 15YO

Yam125 not a YZ the other one the enduro 1978ish
Honda CBX 6cyl (sold to finish com lic)
Honda CB900 custom
Yamaha FJ1200
Suzuki VL1500 realized I made a mistake and traded it in for a.
Suzuki Hayabusa (sold it to a fellow aviator)

So not sure what bike is next but I sure got the bug this year! Maybe an FB6 maybe a triumph???

Mine is the F650GS. It's the twin. The single would be a little more dirt worthy to be sure! Figured I'm not OLD enough fo a couch, um, er, Goldwing. The FB6 is a stripped GW, without reverse, cruise control, radio.....better to get the Wing kids! Figured I'm too old for the 650 single...G650GS, so I bought the twin. It's an 800cc machine BTW. No idea why BMW calls it a 650? It's very smooth. Not the ticket bait the Bandit was, but its happy at 120+. The F800GS is too tall, and fully 6K more $$. Heated grips, ABS and a three year warranty.....

Taking the Bumble Bee to YWG tonight for her very first service. Love the bike! Probably will NOT love what the BMW dealer will charge me for an oil change......last one they will get to do, though!

The visit to the dealer didn't turn out to be too $$$. Headed to YQT next weekend for a "rally" of like minded souls on the shores of Dog Lake. Will post a couple of pics.

I find the local bmw dealership (auto) to be more than reasonable price wise and they provide great service. Albeit they are new and trying to make an impression in the area.

Didnt ride the Bonner as much as I had hoped this year.. Only about 5k. Season on the wet coast is quickly coming to an end for me. All the better, as I have many mods planned and bits on their way to me. I'll post a before and after shot when I'm through with it!

How was everyone elses season? Hows that Beemer treating ya Doc?

The Beemer sleeps under a blanket and cover till the snow melts. So far, so good. I just put the DR650 to bed this week as well. BTW....I HATE WINTER!

Winter still has an icy grip on my poor bikes. The DR might be looking for a new home, if anybody needs an older good .. Needs a gasket kit. That's about 100$ and a couple hours of wrench time.
