Hospital flight path restrictions

Post by Joebus »

Hi gang!
Retired pilot here. My condo board chair asked if I could find out about apparent helicopter flight path restrictions in the vicinity of hospital helipad ops.
A new high rise is being proposed in the neighborhood and of course nobody is keen on another monster high rise. 😤
Anything?

If it's inside the built up area of a city then the heliport is certified, so you could look through this document to see if anything helps:
https://www.tc.gc.ca/en/transport-canad ... 25-160.htm

Have a look at 325.29.

It depends which pad and where the building is to be located. Usually they'll just put out a notam for the crane and amend the listing and/or design of the pad(not physical pad but FATO).

Let us know where.
