What is the benefit of flying a Twin Otter without one of the rear doors (in both of the last two videos)?

That's what I suspected for the USFS Twin Otter, but then the North Cariboo one landing at Prairie Creek mine had a door off as well and smokejumpers from that plane in that location seems less likely.
