Also why are trailer parks a magnet for tragic events, first it was tornados and now even the hot air balloons are picking on them.

SURREY, B.C. (CP) - Police confirm two people are dead after a hot air balloon caught fire and crashed to the ground, injuring 11 others.

RCMP Sgt. Roger Morrow told a television station Saturday the pair were the two missing after the crash last evening. It's not clear whether they were in the balloon or on the ground when the flaming remains of the balloon's basket plunged to Earth at an RV park.

The passengers suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries and were transported to various hospitals in the Vancouver area.

I was sitting at adrian's resturant on Friday night (at Langley Airport), which is right beside the gathering area for Fantasy Balloon Charters. I watched them all meet at the airport, get their briefing, launch their wind test balloon, and hop into the van which would take them too their launch site. I was scheduled to go flying with a student about 30 minutes later and all i could see south was a plume of smoke. I immediatly called tower and asked if their was restricted airspace south of the airport, and they sounded pretty upset and said their was "possible loss of life". It was an eery feeling.
