I saw that plane parked in Springbank a few years ago. A really nice looking 108-3 and I am glad it still is...

Always liked the 50%/75% rule, if you arnt at 75% of Vr by 50% of the available length abort.

Seems like the russians like it more 0%/100%... That must have been some damn good take off calculations. Or just luck...

It is the Russian way. Vr is XXX knots or the far end piano keys........which ever occurs first
