Interesting way for cost reductions....So, in the future, is the way to get Into AC is through Jazz, the only way to get into Jazz is through Voyageur and to get into voyageur, you need to set aside $15k as a training bond? so Jazz can get dash and CRJ pilots already typed and pluck em when they need em. Is this the idea?

Note: I have no skin in the game nor do I have a desire to go to an airline at this point in time.

So will the Jazz fleet of clapped out D8's and RJ's end up flying across Africa on UN contracts?

**you don't need to set aside $15k as a training bond...

Will be interesting to see the changes coming up.... Going from a private company to public...

Looks like Voyageur ops will be status quo. My guess is the acquisition was mainly for the maintenance side of things, the 300 life extension program perhaps. Also, there will be several tired 100's coming out of the Jazz fleet over the next several years that could still be utilized elsewhere....

Jazz Aviation and Voyageur are separate subsidiarys of Chorus, and will operate separately. Time will tell if there will be pilot/employee movement between the two.

Wait a minute... if you are a bad pilot at Jazz, now they can send you to Africa?

Now if you get hauled into the CP office:

Replace cargo plane full of rubber dog shit out of Hong Kong with worn out Dash 8-100 full of Ebola patients out of Sierra Leone.
