Jazz CRJ900?

Post by loopa »

Jazz has CRJ 900? Or is CRJ9 the code for the CRJ705?

The CRJ705 is basically a CRJ900 airframe limited to 75 seats (10 J class, 65 Y class) due to contract scope. On the flight plan it is listed as a CRJ9. Easy way to tell a CRJ700 airframe from a CRJ900 airframe...900 has two over wing emergency exits...700 only has one.

"The ability to ditch an airplane in the Hudson does not qualify a pilot for a pay raise. The ability to get the pilots, with this ability, to work for 30% or 40% pay cuts qualifies those in management for millions in bonuses."

Oh Cool, so is it more comfortable than an RJ900 given that there are only 75 seats in what is usually a 90 seat machine?

Yes...I can't remember the official seat pitch but I seem to remember it being better for legroom in the economy seating.
