Re: Entire application process timeline?
For me first contact was January 2016, hired March 2016.
They are trying to expedite the process now though. I think they understand that in the current environment folks are going to the first regional that calls so they have to move a little quicker.

Re: Entire application process timeline?
For me it was about 3 weeks from first phone call to job offer. After completing the sim eval I received a job offer call the next day.
Re: Entire application process timeline?
Applied in March, phone call mid April, video interview end of April, Sim mid may, job offer the next day.
Medical exam, reference check, crim background check were done between interview and Sim.
Phone call for the sim was roughly 2 weeks after video interview.

Re: Entire application process timeline?
It's really tough say overall how long it will take. In the past it was minimum 2 months, but now they are seeming to push people through faster. The fact that they are doing video interviews and even skipping SIM evals on some candidates says it all. The plan was two classes of 20 each month till the end of the year, but based on what I've seen on the circular that comes out with the new pilots names they haven't come close. I was one of the last in person interviews back in the fall before they started doing the video interviews. I wasn't able to make it to an interview right away due to work but from the interview date forward to starting GS was about 1.5 months. With call backs the day after the interview and the day after the SIM. Medical took a bit longer since I was up in the middle of nowhere.... so pro tip, if you are in a small town but could make the drive to a big city it will take a solid week off your medical testing.
Also, based on a few friends who were hired in the last month.. they are not nessicarly doing everything in the same order they used to. In the past it was 1)interview 2)SIM 3)medical 4)reference checks/crim check 5)job offer. Now I've heard of them doing reference and criminal record checks (even medicals) before the SIM, and the SIM being the last step.

Pofs usually come pretty fast. 3-5 days. The longer you here nothing the better off you are. Some guys ate over a month to get the yes where as other guys get the call in less then 24 hours

Re: Entire application process timeline?
Don't stress man. HR department is very busy, if you have done the medical and you know for sure your referenced didn't say anything bad, you're golden bud.
Start date won't be well into september anyways, next 2 gs are filled up from what I have been hearing.
