As the Georgian pilots don’t come over to Jazz as scheduled in The equipment bid, what do you think the consequence should be? Forfeit date of hire as negotiated, bottom of the list, forfeit the golden handshake and now must apply/interview to be a new hire with a years probation like all new hires?

Haha. Nothing is going to happen. I think its bs because really, they got a pretty good deal that wasn't required.SpaceBall wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2019 12:13 pm As the Georgian pilots don’t come over to Jazz as scheduled in The equipment bid, what do you think the consequence should be? Re: Golden Handshake
Then why should they be penalized?
Re: Golden Handshake
Even though it was not agreed to, it would appear that the GGN pilots will start Jazz training as they are made available by GGN/AC and with reserved seniority spots based on their GGN DOH.
Perhaps this is how it should have been negotiated to start with. Who knows.
The GGN CRJ pilots get to enjoy/endure an extra 4-8 months of GGN WAWCON.

From the emails I've gotten it seems that neither AC nor GGN worked with the our union on it before deciding on it, which throws our training schedule down the pipes. Penalized, I dont think so, its not the pilots fault.Daniel Cooper wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2019 7:09 amThen why should they be penalized?
