Aerobatic Ride?

Post by viennatech »

I am a newly minted PPL based in Ottawa. I would not have made it this far if not for my daredevil wife and her unwavering support thru the years it has taken for me to get here. Last October 18th we were married under a marquee at the Rockliffe Flying Club while Cessna's and Piper's buzzed around in the background. My wife has only 2 hours in her logbook and although is not persuing her license officially, she definately has a love for all things aviation.

This year for her birthday I took her skydiving and now I am looking at our first year anniversary and could think of nothing better but to get her up for an acro ride. Problem is it seems this type of ride is not so easy to find in Canada?

What are the rules, does anyone know of a pilot in the Ottawa/Gatineau region that does this type of thing? She will definately go for anything you can throw at her and doesn't necessarily need to touch the controls. I just want to let her feel something outside of the normal category of flight.

Advice appreciated.
