The show had been slated for May 5-6 but we'll have to wait until next year for it.The Expo has postponed the 2012 Expo and its 20th anniversary celebrations until 2013 in order to support this years 40th anniversary of the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum (CWHM) and the 60th anniversary of the Canadian Owners and Pilots Associations (COPA).

A bit of a confusing post. The Hamilton Airshow is still slated for the weekend of June 16/17th of this year. What is it that you are indicating has been cancelled?

The Canadian Aviation Expo is a type of aviation trade show which usually takes place in May. It was moved from Oshawa to Hamilton a few years back.
The Hamilton Air Show is still on for Father's day weekend as you point out.
