Pitts S-1S For Sale

Post by Colonel Sanders »

This airplane has YOUR name on it. You and a
partner can be flying a Pitts this summer for $20k
each. It will teach you more about flying than you
would believe possible.

Ray Williams outside of Nashville has a nice low time,
most stock S-1S for sale.

Asking 37k, you can probably get it for less.

Ray Williams - 1 (615) 512-3262

And don't give me any crap that you need a chic
half-million dollar composite monoplane to be
fashionable.

Here's 18 year old Sammy Mason in a Pitts S-1S:

It's not about the money. It's about what you
want to do.

No excuses. Try to fly as well as an 18 yr old.

I know of another really nice S-1S for sale! And it's Canadian registered!

plug-plug! :D

I don't understand the complete lack of interest in purchasing these planes.
It teaches you so much about flying and is amazing fun! It is less than a new pickup truck.
C'mon people! Drive a beater, fly a cool plane.

Drive a beater, fly a cool plane
... and get a used literbike crotch rocket: 10
second quarter mile, 300 kph.

Honest to God, I have no idea why more people
don't have (half of) a $30k single-seat Pitts and
a $5k used 1000cc sportbike.

Both have incredible bang for the buck. You are a
very rich man if you can master both. Doesn't cost
much money - total $20k for both - but it will take
some time, and I guess that's the problem.

Neither are good for the instant-gratification crowd,
whom are fond of the shiny new leased minivans
and SUV's.

A little secret: if you spend the time to master the
Pitts, you can fly just about anything. You can jump
into a Stearman, a Harvard, a P-51, jets, anything
without needing a checkout. Just read the POH/AFM
to learn about the systems and off you go.

That ability is priceless to me, but apparently worthless
to nearly everyone else, I guess.
