Gold isn’t a protected term, and your team isn’t handing out small coins of a yellow-coloured shiny metal, as part of your “gold” service.

If you have a “Champagne” service and hand out a sparkling wine drink, isn’t it reasonable to expect that to be Champagne?

To label a type of service as "Champagne" isn't protected.
Is the title of the product "Champagne Service" and what is offered as a drink sparkling wine? Look into that and report back.

The BBC reports that sunwing is still serving the plonk but has changed the advertising and is no longer calling it a “Champagne service”. So that’s alright.

Oh thank god, this is about sunwing. We lost 2 strip clubs in Barrie, and I was worried this was about the third.
