Fort Albany (YFA) to Kashechewan (ZKE), in Ontario. 90 seconds at 500' in a PC-12

Ah c'mon. It's 6nm If you can go 07-10 or 28-25.

It's always been a point of pride to rip it as fast as possible, and while doing cargo only I've hammered it pretty damn good, but
math means you did 280 kts point to point.

Sounds a little like the fish I once caught but if you did 90 sec, holy shit!

Fairbanks International to Eilson Airforce base, Fairbanks Akaska. Basically take off and land straight ahead. 4 different frequencies in 4 miles I believe.

Personally, a 5km flight from a nursery where I bought a Lavender plant then back to CNY3.

Although I met a guy once who was called in on his single Beaver to transport barrels of something across a trench. The trench was 10m wide and they had no way of moving the barrels across it. So, he landed on one side, loaded her up, took off and landed on the other side of the trench. Repeat for a few hours.

Not so short compared to many here but shortest for me and on the way back from Oshkosh. 06D (Rolla, ND) to S28 (Int'l Peace Garden) - 18 miles. Notable mostly because S28 is a fairly cool stop as you land on top of a hill and walk down to either US Customs or Canadian Customs depending which direction you're going.

Flying around all the BC lower mainland airports were some pretty short flights for me ypk-yly-yxx... but slow and simple airplanes make it like driving down the block...

YYZ-YTZ in a -8 was probably the shortest great circle for me flying commercially, 11nm, but track miles were more with all the handling.

YBW-YYC in a King Air was quick.
14 NM

SJC-SFO in a Boeing was really quick.
Great circle map says 26 NM but felt like less
Straight out SJC 30L, sid cancelled, cleared straight in SFO 28R.

That’s the thing with faster planes and terminal airspace. Done YYJ to YVR and back and YVR to YXX but plenty of track miles were added by vectors.

Many years ago when I kept my aircraft in the Wardair hangar at YYZ and had to taxi from Customs at the north end back to WD. Called ground for taxi and was subsequently cleared "take off 15, cleared to land 24.

I used to keep the 310 on the apron at Field at the north end, just across Kilo from the customs circle. I'd shut down in the circle to clear customs, and often have a challenge starting it again to taxi 100 feet to the parking spot. I begged Customs to allow me to taxi into their circle, wait for their acknowledgement, then taxi and shut down in my spot for inspection there, but they would never agree.

Cessna 185 amphib from Fort Providence airport to the water at Whitlock Island. The job was to man up a Coast Guard ship which was wintered next to Whitlock island. The only way to get to it was to fly 5 miles over the ice flows to open water by the ship. Manual pump...85 strokes to get the wheel gear up and land in the water 4 minutes later. Off the water and 50 strokes to get the wheel gear down to land on the runway 4 minutes later. Repeat....12 trips.

Did that one. I was getting paid like 7 cents a mile. Earned less than a buck that day.

CYNJ-CYPK, 8nm. Zero cruise time, as soon as I'm clear of Langley's zone I'm starting my approach in to Pitt Meadows.

KBLI-CYXX, 16 nm. Shortest international flight.

A couple of times while doing circuits in Abbotsford I've been told to extend downwind and have almost hit Lynden. Less than 6nm
