Wondering what you decided to do.
Your description of your first few lessons sounded like a night mare to me.

I've just started lessons, 3 hours in, I start take off next lesson,
Once the instructor went to adjust the carb,
I asked him to explain what needs to be done and to "instruct" me to do it.
He appreciated my attention and interest.

I'm here to learn, I will take responsibility for my learning.
I know what flight lesson we'll be working on at the next class.
Ask questions, lots and lots of questions.

I'm really enjoying this whole process,
hope you found a great instructor.
