Cargojet
They had an ad out a couple of months ago. Has anyone gotten calls? If so how long did it take? PMs appreciated.
Re: Cargojet
If you fit the bill you should have got an email invitation for interviews in June.
Good luck!

Re: Cargojet
Friend of mine got hired earlier this month. F/O on the big plane.
Re: Cargojet
Hiring will be going on throughout the year. Gearing up for expansion and new duty regs.

Re: Cargojet
Heard that Cargojet pilots just signed an LOU for less work days/higher pay.
True or false?

Re: Cargojet
True. Exciting stuff coming up around the corner at CJ.
In twenty years time when your kids ask how you got into flying you want to be able to say "work and determination" not "I just kept taking money from your grandparents for type ratings until someone was stupid enough to give me a job"
Re: Cargojet
Details on pay bump and schedule?
Heard work days went back to 14/15 for 30/31 day month.
Pay bumps for starting CA/FO?
Re: Cargojet
Hey Guys,
Are there any Cargojet commuters who can comment on the commuting from YWG?
I understand that Cargojet will provide AC passes, but only for existing employees as new hires are NOT NECESSARILY going to get them.
Your Input is appreciated,

Re: Cargojet
Can anyone at Cargojet give me some details on scheduling?
Average pairing length, and duty times, start finish times?
5pm-2am sort of thing I can see myself doing, 9pm-6am not so much.
PM would work if you don't want to comment here.
Thanks!

Re: Cargojet
Won't work for you with your parameters. 2-8 day pairings, mostly starting around midnight.
Re: Cargojet
Just wondering what time are you generally getting back to YHM? Would it be possible to jump seat to YWG the same night, or will you have to wait until the following night?

Re: Cargojet
You get back into yhm anywhere from 4am to 1pm depending on the pairing. Some pairings you get back in the evening. 8pm to midnight.
Re: Cargojet
Many thanks for the info!
I notice that the YWG flights leave between Midnight and 3:00am. So if I’m understanding correctly, commuting is certainly possible.
Ok...... next question; are there any affordable crash pads, day rooms, hotels or air B and B’s near the airport??
Cheers!
