Really appreciated to have those informations.
So hum what about the b1900 pilots? Are they going to get the Q and classic spots ? Which would mean no OTS at all until summer at least?

Interesting...
Do you know the numbers regarding pilot in the pool vs ggn pilot in one GS?
Will ggn pilots have all the slots ? Or we could assume 50/50 in a GS?
If the contract amendment is approved, the participating GGN pilots would get seniority spots on the Jazz Pilot Seniority List that equate to their Date of Hire at GGN as a pilot.

Therefore, participating GGN pilots would be bidding as Jazz pilots to fill vacancies. Accordingly, participating GGN pilots take precedence over all pilots not yet hired by Jazz (OTS).

OTS hiring would continue as migrating participating GGN pilots and the CRJ200’s to Jazz will take several months. But likely OTS hiring will slow during that period.
All that is correct.

Information we do not yet have is, assuming the OS is ratified, the planned timeline to transfer the planes from GGN to Jazz and by extension. It is safe to suppose that GGN will gradually wind down it's operation vs xfering all 12 planes in 1 fell swoop ergo creating a huge GGN Pilots bottle neck. It is far more realistic to expect that over the integration period, there will be vacancies in NH classes to be filled with OTS while the xfering GGN Pilots are still engaged in the wind down operation at GGN.

In other words, if the integration is progressive enough, there may not be enough GGN pilots to fill all the classes leaving some room for OTS.

Disclaimer: Pure speculation on my part.

Unknown how many GGN pilots are interested in coming to Jazz. All are eligible. Participating GGN pilots will bid with their seniority to Jazz vacancies. Not restricted by former equipment type. Not grandfathered on to CRJ. Rumour is that some GGN pilots (that are deemed qualified) will be headed straight to AC prior to Jazz transfer. This question is best posed and answered in a GGN pilot thread.

There are OTS in Jazz February GS. OTS hiring will likely to continue but at a rate that is yet to be determined.

The flow of pilots from GGN will be metered out throughout the year as their planes (RJ200) slowly come over to Jazz. I would "assume" there will be a few spots per GS for OTS. Again speculation though at best, will find out tomorrow if the TA passes (possibly Friday)

TA passed. Anyone knows what would happen to those who are in the hiring pool?

Hang tight. The equipment bid was delayed due to the TA. From what I'm hearing the bid should be out in the next 2 weeks.

Cheers,

2 GS in June
1 GS in July (just added a week ago)

Starting in Aug GS will have GGN pilots (not sure if 100% or just a portion)
*this will again be dependant on the 737Max fiasco
Rumour is 737Max back in Oct

Word on the street Aug forward will likely be mostly GGN. Whether its 100% GGN I do not know.

After the SIM Eval the call for Medical should come quickly if you "passed" the sim eval. Once you pass the medical then its a waiting game, likely you'll go into the pool for an undetermined amount of time. Frustrating as it is, HR seems to have their own formula for when and who they choose.

Good luck!

You most probably won't even be placed in a pool. Expect a call within 2 weeks.

kingskate what was your wait time from interview to getting a call back to book a sim eval? Was it the 2 weeks the HR departments states it takes?
