Minimum for an interview

Post by Saubia »

Just wondering what was the "real" minimum to get an interview at AC? They talk about 2000h on the website but what can we currently expect?
Many thanks for your help!

Other than military pilots, I'm thinking competitive OTS is probably 5000+ hours, and either large turboprop or corporate command experience, or airline transport jet experience... and a degree.

Some recent new hires off the street were in the 2000 range. Mind you they checked off the aviation university box and 705 experience.

737 captain with 7000+ hrs. No degree, no call. That being said, I don’t care if they do call. I just keep updating my profile because I’m curious.

The OTS thread has lots of the information you're wanting.

Jazz/Sky are certainly lower experience levels than OTS.
