Season end date Conair/ Airspray

Post by Firetractor »

Hey,

Wondering if anyone could let me know what the typical season length and end date is for the private fire suppression companies is? I want to see if it is possible to go to school full time in the winter while working.

Standard contracts are ~ 120 days. I believe that Conair has some 100 day-ers. You might get some conflicts in March/April with spring training requirements and the push towards exams and term papers, et.. at Uni. But you would probably be able to make the first week in September for skool start..

Thanks man, I didn't consider the preseason training but I could see that being an issue.

I thought about it a fair bit, and I'm sure that you could make a decent argument to most Profs or TAs that you've got a career to take care of early in the season, and could you work around that. Might require a bit of extra work on your behalf to get stuff done early, though.
Good Luck!
