For how much the Icon A5 was toted to be the "unspinnable" airplane (pretty sure it was non-spinnable, and stall resistant, but I'd have to double check), there sure are a lot of stall accidents that happen with these things. This guy was flirting with (and fooling around with) the stall from the beginning.
Also, was he unable to TAKE OFF INTO WIND??? Surely there must have been an opportunity for him to use a bit of power to push upwind, no? Were there too many other people that direction? Seems like his problem started before he was even airborne.
