What's the latest intel on the sim eval for 2020 at Jazz?

Since I’m flying the King Air, does that qualify me to fly the Queen of the skies?

Mine was Oct. 2019

Didn't change from what I read here. SID, 45s, Hold, NPA + ILS, one of the approach after and engine failure. Remember that it is an interview after all... They are looking at CRM skills and IFR knowledge, not perfect handling.

If it goes well they might cut the crap a little, they don't want you to fail.

If you need more info, just let me know!

Most likely a LOC.

NBD's are pretty much not taught anymore, I can't remember the last time I had to do one in a sim.

Aren’t you in a ground school mate?

Super basic IFR ride - SID, 45’s, NDB hold, loc approach - missed approach, single engine ILS to a landing

It’s about being able to memorize the profiles and calls and use your CRM and to evaluate your personality sitting in a cockpit for a 4 day pairing.

Heavy turboprop? Like an Antonov An-22 or something? I may have to change career plans and give this Jazz joint a shot

It's literally a non specific aircraft.

It compares to nothing, it's half DH8 half ATR half King Air. Yes that's 150%. You will get the information in the 45 min before the sim to memorize.
