The Sabre is long gone. Was in a museum in the NW USA.

Sorry, who had Sabres and what for?
Re: Airspray, Buffalo, Conare and Government?
Airspray had a Sabre for target-towing contract ages ago.

$300k bomber pilots? Has this been confirmed anywhere?matt foley wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2019 4:31 pm Conair 41% raise!!? I called BS on that one. So I phoned a pal to tell him the ridiculous load of crap that is being spread. It appears I am wrong. Again.
Directly from one of the pilots: "Starting pay for a 130 day run is $55,000.00 and $50 per flight hour. Top is $120,000.00 and 100 per hour. Two stints of 7 days off included in the 130 day run. Goes up 2% per year for inflation."
Now if my calculator is correct the top guys will be getting $130,000.00 for a 130 day and 100 hour season and I am sure there is vacation and and some kind of a pension plan. On top of that there is good overtime and they are starting to send more and more crews to Australia so possibly a 260 day season. Could these guys be pulling in above $300,000.00 and still get 4 months off? Seems doable.

Had a long chat with a Conair guy today. It's slow so he had the time. I asked about pay and this was out of his mouth:
"First year pilots should see $70k on a 130 day contract(7 are training days and 14 are paid days off) That's $55k base, 100 hours and pension/perdiems. Top guys are doing over $1000.00/day with some RJ-85 crews doing double duty of 260 days/year of contract then add ons like training, ferry flights etc putting them north of $300,000.00 and maybe well north." They have almost 100 pilots in Canada and a bunch in the USA and guessing pile of resumes reaching to the moon.

Just out of curiosity, what are application requirements for bomber pilots?
