Ailerons in crosswind
For a light crosswind of about 4-7 knots, do you hold in full aileron most of the way until the upwind(oops change that to downwind float - my mistake) float lifts or just a bit until ready to lift the float?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Ailerons in crosswind
I have to think this is a "dyslexic" post and upwind, downwind are confused -- in any aircraft, land, sea or ski I always start and the stops and go from there and let the aircraft tell me how much control input I need. I would assume that's the way most people do it.For a light crosswind of about 4-7 knots, do you hold in full aileron most of the way until the upwind float lifts or just a bit until ready to lift the float?

Black air has no lift - extra fuel has no weight
