IATRA Advice

Post by avengingjeremy »

Hey all,

I am about to write the IATRA in the coming weeks, Im having issues with finding all the resources I need to complete this undertaking.
I was wondering if you all could help me with what I need as well as what you may have used to study for this exam?

Any experience especially from those that have completed the exam (hopefully successfully) are much appreciated.

Thanks all

I write tomorrow so I can't tell you what i'll get. But I can tell you that when I started studying for this, it was my first time reviewing the material in a year since a lot of it was similar to CPL stuff. NIZUS was great because it gave you direct references to the AIM so you could find the explanations to any questions you get wrong and dont understand. I ran through the exams a first time, to help myself re-learn material. Then went through them a second time to make sure the information stuck.

I can also vouch for NIZUS. I used it for my ATPL and it was incredible. Great references and explanations and the sample questions were very close to the TC exams.

Just did it a few weeks back and got 92%. Trust me we have a wealth of info (questions, topics) here in avcanada, most of which came for the exam.. so start fishing for those topics. pm if you want details.

Did it today. Passed with 82.

As mentioned above, there are loads of resources on avcanada that have very very similar questions to what you will find.
