Any comments on what working conditions and environment at flair are like? I’m sure the schedule is fine for those still flying there right now but with the planned expansion how many days a month would you be gone for?

I believe it read it somewhere that as the summer draws to an end, and all 11 planes are on property......then ZERO, or close to it...hence the 5 bases.

As they grow, expect more bases. Hotels and per diems are costs that I hear are being addressed aggressively, so mostly turns. As the route structure matures and the MAX stretches its legs, then yep, multi-day trips may return.

EI is only $24,000/year so $67k to get off your couch seems ok given the lack of any other jobs in the industry.

Yes, you can commute. We have jumpseat agreements with Air Canada, Westjet and Harbour Air. We also fly between YYC and YVR. Per diem is $3.50/hr

It's calculated based on time away from base. But yes, if it were 24 hours, then it would be $84.
