With no health or lifestyle flags my approach has been "Shrug. Whenever." Lots of people need it more than I do.

When I signed up on the B.C. web site I wasn't expecting to hear anything until late summer. I got my Book Your Appointment email within the hour. So I did. My arm hurt and I felt achy and run down for a day. The current schedule suggests I'll get my second dose next month.

The first line says it all... "... not been approved or licensed..." and for me, that's the deal killer. None of them have been approved, just authorized for 'emergency use'. Once the various vaccines have all finished their long-term clinical testing and have been found to be safe, sign me up. Until then though, I'll just patiently wait.

You should all be aware that since the Pfizer, Moderna, AZ, JnJ, and other vaccines are only approved under an Emergency Use Authorization, if you develop complications or vaccine injuries, you MAY NOT be covered under your life and disability insurance policies. Some companies' - no airlines yet that I've heard of - STD and LTD plans may be compromised.


There are multiple reports of people checking with their insurance companies and being told that the risk is too high.

Everything in life is about risk management. We are pilots, that should be right in our wheelhouse. Currently the risk of severe covid and the risk of becoming a stat in the VAERS is about the same, if you are "genpop". If you are young and fit - newsflash, yearly medicals prove it -, your risk is higher from the vaccine.

This is a risk I am not willing to take. Besides, there are also multiple credible reports of fertility issues in women after having had the vaccine, and my wife and I want more kids.

Calling people who don't want the covid vaccines antivaxxers is incorrect and doesn't help anyone.

They aren't Anti-vaxxers they are just pro-disease. I am not nor do I pretend to be smarter than the scientists that developed or the doctors that recommend these vaccines. I was lucky enough to get both doses early on flying medevac. I have flown many covid patients over the last year and a half who instead of being offered a vaccine are now dead. Why don't you guys plug your anti-vaxx stance in your next pax briefings that will put everyone at ease.

Age wise I'd say most were middle aged with maybe 2 or three under 30. Can't comment as to their overall health as we as pilots don't get or need that information. Either way being witness to the effects this disease can have was all the proof I needed to sign up for a jab.

The E mails are out there . It will be interesting to see how many lawsuits are generated by the release of the emails .

The Ivermectin debate on FLCCC alliance is just getting going as well . Imagine a cure being denied because those Government employees doing the approvals have financial conflicts of interests . Both in shares of the companies seeking approvals and those holding the Patents of the vaccines and the cures the approval agencies are promoting .
A person on the Government payroll should not be making millions off patents .That many of the Patents that were developed in Government funded Laboratories just makes the corruption more dishonourable.

I struggle with why people are even considering a vaccine when treatment options exist that are proven to work. For the record HCQ is only one of many treatment options. Many better options exist if you do a little research.

When analyzing the chance of a fatal crash on an airline, do you look at similar airline crashes, or do you look at ultralight crashes as well?

The average pilot does not have a 1.8% chance of dying of covid, even if all pilots get covid. Exaggeration does not help to convince people to take a vaccine.

Today's young fit pilots are, all - every single one of you - within a very predictable time frame, going to become old, obese pilots (or ex-pilots) with significant co-morbidities. It's just a matter of time.

A better question is why is treatment being blocked and fear being used to get a jab into every arm including our kids.

This “vaccine” does not prevent one from getting Covid or transmit Covid to others.

That is no exaggeration. It is the average. Its trivial to look up the fatality rate for various age groups and health conditions. I was going to post them but realised it was a waste of time (see prev post )
