Extending medical

I am over 40 and need to extend my cat 1 medical for a month to get through fire season. How do I go about this? Thanks.

TC will give you an extension for a fee. Call the closest regional office to ask.

There are a number of CAMEs that are doing virtual medicals. Assuming that there has not been any change in your medical status since your previous medical you could contact one and complete it over the phone. They will then email you your updated medical status.

Considering the fire season in British Columbia I suspect that you might be there. If you want the name and contact information of a doctor in the interior of BC PM me and I will give you the information.

Thanks. Yes I live in Kimberley. I asked my doctor if he could do one over the phone and he can’t. I get 5 days off right now with no notice so impossible to book medical when they need a months notice.

TC will extend you for I believe up to 90 days for a fee, and they email the certificate.
