If CG thought for one second that the majority of those AC furloughs would give up a number or delay a recall and stay they're dumber than a post. If you were a furloughed AC pilot and watching how AJ is treating his pilots would you stay?

Speaking to a captain who works there, it sounds like this stemmed from SWG guys who were recalled after completing their initial, as recently as August. It also sounds like this will continue as furloughed hires reach their one-year probation, as they wish to replace them with non-furloughed hires.

Being an Air Canada pilot is not a protected class, therefore discrimination won’t apply. Need to argue race, or gender etc.

And employer can terminate you without cause anytime they want they just have to pay severance.

You can discriminate based on many things such as one's height, favourite food, and inability to post anything intelligent. In this case, the claim was being made that CagoJet was targeting pilots who came from AC (identifiable group) and firing them (negative action).

You said it better. And not all AC pilots were discriminated against.
