We're recruiting a limited amount of DEC's at the moment as well though it hasn't been officially posted.

Interested captain's can submit through the F/O link and mention it in the cover letter.

First year FO's start at $56k
First year Captains start at $93k

Benefits after 3 months, eligible for company contributed pension after 1 year. We do have a 2 year training bond, which is a promissory note. This means no money exchanges hands, but the amount is reduced every month worked and should you leave early, the amount outstanding would be owed. There is a staff travel program, standby for you and your immediate family plus one buddy on all Flair flights. No jumpseat agreements, yet.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to DM or give me a call (250-807-5467).
Those numbers were for 2017, the 2020 first year pay for FO and CA is $67 K, and $114 K.

Anyone know how long one might expect to be placed on reserve for (months/years)? I imagine it is a seniority based system?

We don't have reserve blocks. You might get a couple-4 days of reserve a month. If you don't want reserve you can bid to avoid it. The company is set to double in size over the next 8-12 months so anyone hired before spring will be relatively senior quickly.

I would think big expansion in YYZ but much expansion for YVR planned too?

Split between YVR/YXX and YYZ.

What routes do the expansion include? Eastern Canada, the U.S, the Caribbean? (Possible, given the NG range).

Curious, since you guys are planning to double in size. Anything you can share?

Or is this a defensive move against Enerjet plans?

Thanks.

The summer schedule for next year should be released in the next few weeks. Expansion possibilities moving forward include all of the above as more NG's are added to the fleet in the new year.

The LCC (not really a ULCC) business model has been successful for the airline and they'll continue to add frequency to existing routes and explore new options which will drive growth going forward.

Why the need for DEC’s. Are there no F.O.’s that can be upgraded to Captain?

The Captain positions available exceed the number of upgradeable FO's, hence the need for limited DEC spots.
