Anyone got a paint job done recently?

I've recently gotten a quote from Muskoka Aircraft Refinishing to have our C150 repainted. Its about 5-10k cheaper than anyone else. They appear to do mostly commuter and business jets judging from their website gallery, only thing close to a GA aircraft i saw was an amphib beaver. Living with the addage that you get what you pay for im wondering if anyone has had them do any work or know someone who has? Just wondering what kind of job they do. Thanks

I painted my first plane back in 1985 and have done many more since. What aluminum prep process do they use? What type (make and type) of primer? And what are they using for the topcoat (make and type)?

good question, not sure. I had planned to call and talk to someone there this coming week but i wanted to see if anyone had any reviews of the place before hand. I will add those questions to the list i've got already. You sound like you know what your talking about Hugh, where you located? Still painting planes?
