Yearly Flight Hours

Just curious what would be the normal amount of flight hours one would expect working for a Major or 703/704? I realize there are other factors like overtime and such but is 400 hours a year in the normal range? Too little or too much? Thanks

Highly depends, but I'd say 700 ish/year would be average. 400 seems low, but not really abnormally so.

703, I know guys who've flown 1200 in a year... everything else, I'd think would be all over the map, depending on your operation. I'm 704 (light jet, medevac) and I'm at 400 for the last 356days..

Any less would be too boring. Any more would be like working for a living.

I work 170 or so days year round and I don’t have a side hustle. Hustle culture needs to die a horrible and gruesome death.
