Breeze Airways EB-2 Visa Jobs
Anyone who has been waiting for a Visa into US Airline flying, Breeze just posted an EB-2 Visa program. Details at flybreeze.com. If you have a bachelor's degree and 5 years experience. A220 pay not great compared to what I made at Delta, but it has gone up. Good luck!

Those are some high minimums to get that EB-2 approval. 10,000 hours and a bachelor degree and will likely only be qualified for the right seat for the first 1,000 hours.

Not "likely" be qualified for the right seat. You definitely will sit right seat because the FAA doesn't accept any transfer of qualifications from being a 705 captain towards 1500 hours part 121 experience.
Atlas is currently telling Canadians that they'll be hired, sit right seat 747 for 2 years before being upgraded sooner if able.

Exactly. I said likely only because there might be the odd situation where someone gained that experience in another visa category. Not "likely" be qualified for the right seat. Interesting they can get away with advertising the same position to US nationals and only require 1500 hours. Obviously the high minimum requirements is only there for the purposes of the EB-2. A few people may slip through before USCIS catches on.
Re: Breeze Airways EB-2 Visa Jobs
Immigration and FAA requirements are different. It's possible, although unlikely, a Canadian has the required FAA experience but no visa yet. The visum doesn't force you to be an FO.Arnie Pye wrote: ↑Tue Mar 15, 2022 12:51 pmStinky wrote: ↑Tue Mar 15, 2022 12:08 pm https://boards.greenhouse.io/breezeairw ... 4977167003

As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

Interesting..... Too bad about the Bachelor degree though. I guess an aviation college diploma doesn’t cut it. I did see a bunch of their planes in TPA on a recent Florida trip and was wondering who this company was.
Let’s Go Brandon

It doesn't look too bad at all through a Canadian perspective.
Year 1: $75 USD per hour for 70 hour guarantee. That's over $90/hour Canadian (At least 30% more than Air Canada).
Year 2: $102/hour as an A220 FO. That's about what all the ULCC's are paying Captains these days after the currency conversion.
Year 1 Captain: $160 USD (or about $200 Canadian)
Year 7 Captain: $196 USD ($250 Canadian) That puts you off the charts at WestJet. Pretty sure the only gig paying this kind of monty in Canada is an Air Canada Widebody Captain. I wouldn't want to guess how long the junior wide body captain has been at air canada.

Oh only 10 000 hours with 5000 PIC, and a degree? Can I reduce that for all my space shuttle time? Does P-51 time count?

Re: Breeze Airways EB-2 Visa Jobs
Here’s the odd part, mid 40’s, I have those qualifications and it makes zero financial sense for me to jump other than my allergy for winter. I don’t even work 705 anymore so I don’t know who they’re expecting to pursue this offer.
Re: Breeze Airways EB-2 Visa Jobs
55 hour was the MMG when they launched last year. It is now 70. The pay rates will most likely get another bump this year.Minimums wrote: ↑Fri Mar 18, 2022 2:50 pmRead the fine print. Morningstar gets you pretty close. I would assume CargoJet as well.Arnie Pye wrote: ↑Tue Mar 15, 2022 7:38 pm Year 1 Captain: $160 USD (or about $200 Canadian)
