YYZ Half-Day Bootcamp 2022

I think the asynchronous interviews started in May - I just did mine recently.

Wait are we talking about the bootcamp before or after the interview round? I did my interview 3 weeks ago (they told me 4 weeks for results) then it will be a 2 day boot camp afterwards.

8-12 weeks is the wait afer the half day assessment to get an offer or get rejected. Start dates are late fall or early 2023 as 737 stated.

They didnt mention anything about more assessments nor did I ask but right now we only did interview -> half day assessment, no two day bootcamp. I feel like they are done with the assesssments but if you guys get an invite let us know!

They were only this week so that means less than 20 people went to the half day boot camp. There’s no way that for ifr vfr and fic they’re only interviewing that many people. Less than 7 people to each stream if everyone gets an offer.

Yea they're not done. They just did more virtual interviews so the boot camps will keep running and offers will probably just come on a rolling basis for the courses beginning in late fall '22 or early '23.

Same, but it’s been “interview” since after the FEAST. I think in 8-12 weeks it will change to either “eligible for offer” or “fail” depending on how you did

Got an email this morning saying that I achieved the minimum pass mark and am eligible for a course offer. Status also changed to eligible for offer

I just declined my FIC offer yesterday and got the same email today for ATS I believe. Hopefully we get calls with offers rolling in soon.

I feel like they are teasing us with that 8-12 week window they gave us during the assesment. Maybe the dates for training moved up?

Congrats all, it looks like everyone on this forum consistently makes it past every step! I'm currently waiting for interview results and hopefully will be thrown into the mix with all you fine folks for that early 2023 IFR course after boot camp

I mean, doesn't really work out til I get an offer for trianing but yeah. Happy to see that I'm on the list at least.

I think 8-12 weeks is for when offers will come rolling in. They may still be evaluating people and adding to the eligible list before offering courses.

Thanks for declining ! I received an offer for FIC today and accepted. Not my first choice but I don't want to decline and risk not receiving any offer. Plus FIC seems pretty interesting too. Super excited!! Anyone else accept a FIC offer?

It's just I am unable to move right now and I'll still be on the list for future FIC offers. So my logic was worst case scenario if I don't recieve an IFR/VFR offer, I'll at least potentially get an FIC next year when I am ready to relocate.
