Delays and daily operational failures

Post by We_tu_lo »

Message from the CEO today appears to deny any responsibility for the operational failures we experience now on a daily basis. All of us out on the line know lack of support crews not limited to tow crews, groomers, gate agents, ground crews etc. is the real problem. I wonder if our A scale MEC chair will stick up for us and respond.

He’s kinda right. Most of the delays I’ve experienced were at hub airports. YYZ&YUL. I can’t think of any personally that were Jazz related. Ground staff shortages are Air Canada issues. Customs and Airport Security? Well that’s the federal government and you know they couldn’t organize a piss up in a brewery.

Jazz having one tow crew for the entire YYZ fleet is not an AC problem.

Happens every year. Ask crew scheduling why there is a shortage of flight attendants on this certain weekend?

They should get rid of all airport security and screening.

Then get rid of all flight attendants.

Allow people to bring their own food and drinks onboard.

Saving time, money, and much passenger frustration.

The entire system needs a complete overhaul.
