There are way more schools available in the area these cover. Have you boiled it down to these?

If you're looking for PPL/CPL, would highly recommend Sky WIngs! Close by practice areas, good planes, plenty of Class 1 instructors and pilot examiners at the school, cost effective training.

Good luck

Well seeing as though you're looking everywhere from Calgary to Edmonton there is:

At Springbank Airport west of Calgary (CYBW)

Calgary Flying Club https://calgaryflyingclub.com/
Springbank Air Training College https://www.springbankair.com/
Mount Royal University https://www.mtroyal.ca/ProgramsCourses/ ... onDiploma/

There used to be more, and some come and go Spingbank Aero has periodically offered flight training under a variety of names. Fly Right's planes I think were absorbed by CFC

At Lethbridge Airport (CYQL)

Excel Aviation https://www.facebook.com/ExcelFlightTrainingInc

At Claresholm Airport (CEJ4)

CFI Flight Academy https://www.cfiflightacademy.com/

At High River Airport (CEN4)

Kanata Aviation https://www.kanataaviation.ca/

There used to be a school at Okotoks as well, but given the instability of the airport's existence, and last scandal, one can't recommend it. Olds Didsbury used to have Calgary Flight Training Centre, but it seems they have disappeared or moved and become something else.

Moving North we have of course:

At Red Deer Airport (Sometimes still called Penhold) (CYQF)

Sky Wings Aviation https://skywings.com/
Montair https://www.montair.com/red-deer-training-base/

Supposedly Canadian Aviation College that was also based in Pitt Meadows BC moved in there, but that must have went bust.
https://www.reddeeradvocate.com/news/ne ... l-airport/

There's no more mention of that on their website. https://www.cacbc.ca/fleetandfacility

At Wetaskawin (CEX3)

Absolute Aviation https://www.absoluteaviation.ca/

At Cooking Lake Airport East of Edmonton (CEZ3)

Cooking Lake Aviation https://flycla.ca/

I think there was a second school there, but they seemed to have moved or went under.

At Josephburg Airport NorthEast of Edmonton, also referred to as Fort Saskatchewan (CFB6)

Freedom Air Services https://www.freedomair.ca/

At Villeneuve Airport North West of Edmonton (CZVL)

Namao Fling Club https://namaoflyingclub.com/
Aurora Aviation auroraaviationacademy.com/
Centennial Flying School https://synergyflighttraining.ca/

At Parkland Airport West of Edmonton (CPL6)

Edmonton Flying Club https://flyefc.ca/

There's maybe a few I've missed. There are also flying schools at Grande Prairie, Fort McMurray, Lloydminster, and Medicine Hat if you're looking all of Alberta. Camrose used to have one, but the airport has been closed lately, I'm not sure of the reasons.

Out of this,1) spring bank air training college is not accepting until December or so.
2) Mount Royal- I don’t want to do any program so I skipped this one.
3) excel is not accepting students until September 2023.
4)cooking lake- they don’t accept international students.
5) Namao- they don’t accept international students but they recommended Centennial .
6) Centennial- I talked to them and I think it will be a better fit for me but I just want some opinion on the school.7) Edmonton FC- they don’t have DLI , so they can’t accept any international students.

Right now, these are my options:- 1)Calgary FC 2)sky wing 3) absolute 4) Centennial

I am just confused about which to choose as I am already in flight school here in BC and suffered from there.

So in other words, when I asked:
Have you boiled it down to these?
You should have said "Yes".

For future posters and askers of these kinds of questions, it helps to provide as much information as possible. For example knowing that you are seeking a school that accepts international students is helpful for people giving replies to be as useful as possible. So is the information that you are already in a school. In this case its useful to detail the location you're willing to work with.

FWIW, Kanata in High River, and CFI in Claresolm also accept international students. I don't know the quality of those schools, but I do know they both got new (to the school that is) multi engine planes.

My bad, I didn't read it. I have another post here in detail about my situation and the schools I was looking for, but no one replied so I shortlisted a few schools and asked for an opinion.

Super T Aviation in Medicine Hat accepts international students....they own several 172s so booking is rarely an issue. They also have on-airport accommodations that you can get a good price on so you don't need to worry about hotel costs.

I fly out of Medicine Hat and nearby Bow Island and you rarely have to wait for traffic.
