Yes, but it's also a great point that needs to be made.
Wages in Canada are shit. There is no sugar coating how shit they are. Jazz, Encore, Porter... working 10-12 hours per day and getting an average of $20 per hour worked. Sure, the hourly rates are $40-50 per hour, but we all know that we don't get paid for our time worked.
How is anyone supposed to survive comfortably on $40,000 per year? How many pilots do you know that work two jobs to make ends meet? If you're not concerned, you haven't asked them yet.
