YOW new hire FO

I would like to know how long could a new hire FO hold a position in YOW ?

…you get offered a base with your offer of employment. If there is a choice of bases…you get to choose right there and then. YOW is growing, so if at the particular time of the offer no position is immediately available,(usually due YOW training dept too full with existing upgrades and/or initials) there’s a decent chance before lineindoc is finished a base bid will come out and you can bid. There have been transfers awarded to some while still in initial ground school. Many non YTZ pilots get put into YTZ pairings to expedite training.
