It's my understanding the FAA approved this new fuel as a drop in replacement for 100 LL AvGas.
Can I just go pump it now? Or is an STC for every specific airplane type still required?

As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

It appears to be a proprietary GAMI blend, so very unlikely its available at the corner station.

So if it's now a "blanket approval" and no longer requiring an STC for a range of engines and airframes, this makes me think of all the engines that were certified with W100 / W80 oil were able to use Aeroshell 15/50 or Phillips X/C w/o an STC when those oils were introduced. I guess they (the FAA that is) have satisfied themselves that all those rubber fuel components including bladders are completely compatible. Hope that this goes smoothly.
