Next Gen Engine

I can see a DH8 size airframe powered by this engine long before an electric powerplant, very cool.

Producing hydrogen is an issue, but becoming more and more viable by the day as electricity costs continue to come down.
Much better option than a plane packed full of batteries. Hybrid powered by hydrogen seems like the best option with current technology.

Cautiously optimistic as usual, but...they'll also have to crack the problem of hydrogen storage: high pressure, or liquid, etc..

Not to mention hydrogen is highly flammable..... I’d hate to be in an accident with a bunch of highly pressurized hydrogen tanks surrounding me.
