I bought a GA->Helicopter U-174 adapter, thinking this would work, as that is what the description said it was for, but it doesn't work. I thought it might have something to do with stereo/mono so I tried switching my headset control box jumpers but it doesn't work. I tried it in a few different Beavers and it didn't work in any of them.
I'm able to hear the radio and intercom, but the radio does not pick up my mic on the intercom or for transmitting on the radio.
Has anyone purchased one of these and it is confirmed working? If so, can you please refer me to the product? I don't want to waste more money on an adapter that is supposed to be what I'm looking for, but doesn't work
I will be losing my hearing in short time if I keep using the standard passive David Clark headset.
