where can I find the information stating the difference between minor repairs vs major repairs?

There are no minor repairs - there are only repairs, and major repairs. The criteria for determining when a repair is "major" are listed in CAR 571 Appendix A.

Servicing is defined in CAR 101.01 if I recall correctly. It’s cleaning, lubrication and replenishment of fluids without requiring dismantling to do so. Think fuelling, adding oil, greasing some areas, servicing oxygen. If you work for a 700 series AOC there’s training required

101.01 also has definitions for maintenance, major modification and repair.

Elementary work is a specific list of tasks found in CARs 625 App A
