The BCIT site says its a 64 month programme. By the time you finish the cycle will have swung and and there will be no jobs. But welcome to Aviation.

Wasnt it a 64 week program? 18 months doesnt seem too bad to me. Considering that i want to check the diploma box.

If you have the money to pay for it, a level of maturity from already being in the workforce for a decade or so, and don't want to "pay your dues" up north, is the BCIT JAPP worth it? Or are you better off going through a mom/pop school in the lower mainland (I have a family, so I'd like to stay around here) and then hoping to get an instructing job their afterwards?

This 78-week program begins in May each year and with an annual cohort of up to 30 students. As part of the diploma program, students focus on aviation academics, ground school, and applied flight training throughout the duration of the program.
