Lost a RAIC. Will i have issues applying for a new one?

Post by Rwy17 »

I recently lost my RAIC, and was unable to find it before leaving the job. It was classified at Failed To Return. It was reported lost with the issuing office.

Im starting a new 705 job in a few weeks that needs a RAIC from a different airport. Will i have issues applying for a new one?

No. You'll be dinged for the card fee though. I believe about $150.

Long story short lost mine years ago. Reported lost. Paid fees ouch, but no issues getting another. It was dropped in a mailbox by the person who found it. Took almost 2 years, RCMP sent to pass office and they refunded most of the fees when they got it. If you find it bring it back ya never know.
