Porter Interview Google meet link
Hi, I have booked an interview FEB 16. But I didn't get any link at all. Will they send Google Meet link just before the interview?

You will get a link emailed to you closer to your interview date. Good luck!

It’s just like every other interview you’ve ever done.
Standard questions: have you crashed a plane? Failed a ride? Etc.
Then behavioral questions. Tell us a time….. etc.
Just be yourself, be polite and don’t lie.
Good luck.

And DON'T utilize any services you may see online that claim to prepare you for these interviews... as tempting as it may sound. Recruiters can sniff out answers that have been rehearsed. Just be yourself.

Google the STAR method to answering interview questions.
Ask your partner or a family member or stand in front of a mirror and practice talking in front of others. Most likely your interview will be over zoom, google meets or FaceTime.
Don’t practice the answers, practice being a professional.

Hey, just curious to know how did the interview go? Mind if you can list the questions? How long did the interview last?

It’s roughly just shy of an hour. The questions are literally the same as every other interview.
Tell us a time….blah blah. Then : how did you resolve it
Look up the STAR method to interview questions if you wanted to practice. It’s a professional way to answer questions.
My advice, think of situations or flights that went really well
Or really bad and mark those situations in your head.

The advanced prep with a pro is definitely NOT required for Porter. The interview is designed to see if your personality will mesh with the group. At the end of the day it either does or it doesn't - don't force it.
My experience there was no technical questions, and over the course of 45 minutes we had a really nice discussion. Don't forget, it's always good to have a few researched questions at the end for them (and that goes for any interview).
That said, come ready to tell a few of your best stories, and have fun. The people on the other side of the camera are really nice people and are genuinely looking forward to meeting with you.
