New Brunswick Commuters

Post by Timetoflyagain »

Hey…wondering how many pilots live in NB and commute (most likely west) to work… how easy do you find it? Rotational or scheduled bidding? Better companies to work for etc…..
Thanks

Like anything depends one where you are coming from. If you are in Moncton, there is alot of flights, but there is a ton of commuters.

I commute YQM-YUL. Definitely not easy with only 2 flights per day. Flights are often full and I use the jumpseat to commute.

To quote some agents " I don't get Christmas I'm too junior! I only have 30 years in"

Cargojet lets their pilots commute on on their AC. Completely free.

They have 4 jump seats in cockpit. Almost impossible to get bumped. I think there is 4 guys commuting from there.

You need to arrive in YHM 11 hours prior to report for rest. No flights to/from YQM on the weekend.

Bid your sked around the flights and it works perfect. You also get my ID travel . I wouldn't trust them to go to work but good to get you home on the weekend. 100$ one way.

Seats available to Cargojet pilots only. Only from the airport of your residence to go and come from work.
